Community at its core
Liberation Foods is not just a Fairtrade nut company; we are a Community Interest Company that’s owned by the smallholder farmers around the world that plant, nurture and pick the nuts that go into our delicious range.
We like to think that in choosing to invest in Liberation, putting their hard-earned cash behind the company, these small-scale producers show real faith in the ethos and values of the company and the way we do business.
They have a loud and powerful voice in how Liberation develops and reinvest their profits into the local community, environment and economy.

crops that don't cost the earth
It's been widely acknowledged that thriving small-scale farming communities are critical to supporting a more sustainable food system.
The cooperatives we work with are committed to using farming methods that work in harmony with their surroundings. They are dedicated to preserving biodiversity, conserving natural habitats and tackling climate change.
