There's more for Malawian Co-ops!

Central England Co-operatives announced a new initiative to build and support trading capacity for co-ops worldwide...and guess who’s included?!
A range of Malawi-aligned products can now be found in Central England Co-ops

That’s right!  Liberation products can now be found on co-op shelves throughout Central England.

The first 5-year pilot of this initiative will be focusing on Malawian producer groups. So our nut range will be nestled in amongst other brilliant Malawi-aligned brands - including Revolver tea, Kilombero rice and Nutcellars macadamia.

Having launched on Saturday for International Day of Cooperatives, the project, in partnership with Co-op College, has big plans to work collaboratively with in-country coop members on a wide variety of self-elected themes whilst developing marketing and sales opportunities here in the UK.

There will be plenty to follow and we are really looking forward to sharing further news, activities and developments over the coming months and years. And of course, we are particularly excited to amplify support and collaborative action with Liberation’s Malawian shareholders.

But no need to wait! Action can begin right away by buying as many nuts grown on Malawian soils as possible! Currently, only available in Central England stores (however watch this space), if you happen to live or be passing through this part of the country please do pop into a Co-op and stock up!
